CONDITIONS GÉNÉRALES DE VENTE (Terms of Sale)

2. Champ d'application / Scope These General Terms of Sale govern all orders placed on oakleafdisplay.com. By placing an order, the buyer accepts these terms in full.

These terms apply to both consumers (individuals purchasing for personal use) and professional buyers (businesses purchasing for professional purposes). Where terms differ, this is indicated below.

3. Products Many products are made to order. Descriptions and images are provided in good faith; minor variations in finish are inherent to handcrafted brass goods and do not constitute defects. We reserve the right to modify our product range without notice.

4. Pricing Prices are displayed excluding VAT. As a micro-entrepreneur, Oakleaf Display is not subject to VAT under Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI). We reserve the right to modify prices at any time; the price applicable is that shown at the time of order confirmation.

5. Orders & Payment Orders are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. We accept payment methods shown at checkout. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a dispute, suspected fraud, or inability to fulfil.

6. Processing & Delivery Made-to-order items are prepared within 5 business days before dispatch. Delivery timeframes are indicative and set out in our Shipping Policy. Oakleaf Display cannot be held liable for delays caused by carriers or customs authorities.

7. Right of Withdrawal — Consumers Only If you are a consumer (individual purchasing for personal use) located in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU. This right does not apply to custom or made-to-order items, or to professional buyers purchasing for business use.

8. Returns & Refunds Full terms are set out in our Refund Policy. Returned items must be in original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or not as described.

9. Warranties All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (garantie légale de conformité) under French law (Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code) for consumer buyers. Professional buyers are not covered by consumer warranties but may rely on contractual guarantees where applicable.

10. Liability Oakleaf Display's liability is limited to the value of the order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This limitation does not apply to consumer buyers where prohibited by applicable law.

11. Dispute Resolution — Consumers EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We will endeavour to resolve disputes amicably in the first instance.

12. Governing Law These terms are governed by French law. Consumer buyers may also rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence. Disputes between professional buyers and Oakleaf Display are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
